OOW-SG Signals
Our course is a journey through the history of communication, a world where letters and words were not written, but heard through small sounds or seen through light signals.
It's called Morse Code, and it is perhaps humanity's first global "digital" language. It was developed in the 19th century and widely used in telegrams and radio communications.
Students will learn the basic alphabet, listening techniques, and how to encode and decode messages.
The goals of the course are to:
✔ Understand the logic behind Morse Code.
✔ Learn to decode and write words using dots and dashes.
✔ Practice transmitting signals using sound and light.
✔ Discover its historical importance and modern applications (e.g., in navigation, aviation, amateur radio, and even survival signaling).
